2002
As part of a reform project, the former KuT company was taken over and transferred to AWS Systemtechnik GmbH. KuT specialised in producing assembly lines for seals for water and oil pipes, among other things. The plastic injection moulding technology and existing industrial assembly operations were taken over and continued.

2003
Restructuring involved consolidating the company´s operations at the Au in Hallertau, forming the basis for the company to move to its current address at Gewerbering 12.

The first order was to assemble a damper system for transporting highly sensitive switch cabinets.
With a focus on the cost analysis of product and tool costs and the associated projects, the area of cost engineering is being further established and expanded.

2005
Then the second order was for brake cover hoods for trains. The aim was to develop a cover system that required as few manufacturing technologies as possible, while combining functions such as earthing, impact protection, and fire protection.
With various projects in Europe and overseas, AWS Cost Engineering is beginning to tap into the international market for the first time and is continuing to expand its customer base.
